Today I'll tell you about my painting experience with fluorescent markers. I started my little experiment with the outlines.

Then, captivated by some beautiful pastel fluorescent markers, I decided to use them to color the drawing.

The markers worked quite well on the shirt but not so well on the skin. And then when I tried to color the wall it became really streaky and that's when I decided to give up. Sorry! I wish I could bring you better news!

Then I decided to return to my old best friends, the colored pencils. First I tentatively tried the colors.

Finally I colored the final version. This drawing was inspired by how I wish I could wake up in the morning. Happy and full of energy! In real life, I often wish I could stay longer in bed! You can check out the whole process in the video below.
