the 2014/2015 school year the Lisbon School of Magic strongly recommends to our
students the manuals available in our Bookstore.
Create a New Spell
The Sorceress Fedra, a widely
known name in wizardry worldwide, is looking for a coauthor for her new spell. This is
a unique opportunity for you to learn new magic!
If Fedra accepts you as coauthor,
be aware that you will be facing a tremendous responsibility! The conference, where the new
spell will be submitted, rejects 99% of the papers and deadlines are merciless. However,
if you manage to survive peer-review and be accepted, your name will forever be inscribed in
the history of magic!
To start working on the new spell, present yourself
to Fedra at
the laboratory.
If you paper is the best one in the conference you will even be granted an award!
Invitations to the Green Gala
We have a magnificent party, the Green Gala, waiting for the wizards who are powerful enough to
integrate the guest list.
Speak with your Master to obtain an invitation to this
select event. Your Master will show how to obtain an
invitation when you reach Lesson number 6.

Unfortunately the World Is Not Safe
Dear Friends,
Unfortunately, this world is not a safe place! At any moment,
a wizard may be forced to confront another hostile
rival wizard, ghouls, goblins, dragons, trolls and
all sort of demoniac beings. The wise magician manipulator
will therefore know better to guard himself against this
sort of threats. To keep you defense and attack spells in
good shape there is nothing better than daily practice
through friendly duels against other fellow wizards.
However finding someone with whom to practice is seldom
an easy task. The wizard is typically a reclusive creature,
hiding in lab or flying in his broom to far away
exotic places.
I suffer from this problem myself! Sometimes I would
like to compare my magical strength with other wizards
and find out that everybody is busy in their
wizardry business. However, now suffer no more from
this problem. I just installed
an application
in my mobile phone that allows me to find other wizards,
available for a duel, even if they are on the
other side of the planet. Now, whenever I want to
fight (always in a friendly manner, of course :) ) I
always have adversaries available and the
diary practice gives me the necessary confidence
to know that I am always ready for any
challenge. I strongly recommend you
this application!
